Do I know you?

It’s an ongoing progress

Posted by Cactuus on Mar-22-2008

Let’s just say that all the posts are gone and I’m going to build everything up again. The archives might just start from this year but this domain way older than that. It has a PR2 and an Alexa rating just above 900,000 so it’s not that bad, just have to keep working on it and bring some posts back to the archive. I think I might have some saved in an Livejournal account, you know, from the days when you were using the LJ-crossposting plugin for WordPress. I never get it to work these days.

Don’t fear my readers, this site isn’t dead yet!

Some trouble and some snow

Posted by Cactuus on Mar-20-2008

I have had a little trouble with the database but I’m working on it. I have lost some posts as well but you never know when they might show up. I have also added a new theme to use while I’m working on my own (that might take a while), but it is quite cute, don’t you think?

I have recently started to use Twitter more and more, I got the great tip that I should download Twhirl so I did, and I’m actually enjoying it so far. Made a few new friends as well.

It has been snowing like crazy here lately, we had a storm as well during the night, but it was really nice to curl up in the bed with candles on the bed-table and reading a good book. Tonight I’m going to eat a big dinner with my aunt and cousin (and their families), I look forward to it since free food is always nice! :P

I tested Pidgin

Posted by Cactuus on Feb-19-2008

I have been testing a program called Pidgin which is a multi-protocol instant messaging client that allows you to use all of your IM accounts at once.

Since I have had problems with both MSN Messenger and Trillian (and a couple of others that I can’t recall the name of right now), I really needed a lightweight program that could handle at least MSN and GTalk.

Ashop Commerce - What is it?

If you want to start a shop online one of the first things you need to do is to find a shopping cart software. I don’t think you will succeed and have your business to grow if you don’t find shopping cart script or payment solution.

Ashop Commerce is a world-class provider that offers a shopping cart software that it easy for everyone to handle. You don’t have to know any programming to set it up or style it. You don’t have to worry about hosting since they can include that in your package too.
A great thing is that they offer a free online test drive and also a 10 Day Free trial of their shopping cart solution so you can test all it’s neat features.

They got 4 different plans, from Light for $39.95 a month (that can be good for a small business) to Ashop Plus for $189.95 a month for big businesses.

I think Ashop Commerce is the ultimate ecommerce solution for people that want to succeed with their online shop.
